We're looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Bus Contracts & Projects Officer to join our Public Transport team. This is an excellent opportunity for a university placement student to gain hands-on experience supporting the delivery of local bus contracts while contributing to one of the UK's most significant Bus Franchising programmes.

🚌 Monitor contracted bus services through on-street observations.
📊 Analyse performance data, punctuality, reliability and customer feedback to produce insightful reports.
📋 Support the management of bus service registrations and contract compliance.
You'll ideally have:
🎓 A Levels (or equivalent).
📚 Be studying towards a degree in Geography, Transport Planning or a related subject.
🚍 A genuine interest in public transport and sustainable travel.

We are using Contract as one legal basis for processing, which means we can use your details and information so that we may assess your suitability for employment with us. .

Background checks

Successful applicants
If you are successfully recruited, we will upload your details to our HR System, Cascade. As a member of staff you will sign a contact of employment and agree to additional terms on how your data is stored.
Document Signing
We use DocuSign for digitally signed documents. You may be required to sign a contract, offer and/or other documents if you are successful. You will not have to create an account with them and we only pass on the minimum amount of data required to allow them to carry out their operations. We use some automated screening tools as part of this application process.
